Razor: Gillette Black Tip X 3 1952 Blade: Wilkinson Sword (1) Brush: Whipped Dog Silvertip Black/White Marble Handle Soap: Route 66 Rum Runner Aftershave: Floid Aftershave This is a horrible shave brush. The marble handle has little marble, and the knot is a disaster. I switched to a Ever Ready 100 T I had curing on top of the a cabinet for the final 2 passes.
No shave for me today. I'll be back in action tomorrow morning. I should finish the Cavendish sample at some point this week. Great shaves and pictures!
Well, so far it looks like Clint, Brian, Douglas and Chris are all running perfect for the month with eight photos up.
Here's #4 - Route 66 "A Perfect Gent" - Thäter 26mm 2-band Silvertip - Portland Razor Co "The Sprite" - CHH Tobacco AS Well - what can I say... Just another very nice shave with this Route 66 Soap. 2-pass DFS. A little experiment today: I used quite a lot of water when I started lathering. Just wanted to see whether it's possible to drown this soap. It wasn't A few more brush swirls than usual to take up more soap and voila: slick and creamy lather. Fantastic brush btw - hands down the best badger brush in my den.
