SOTD January 9, 2017 Blade: Kai Captain Mild Razor: RazoRock Black Hawk Brush: Semogue 1520 boar Lather: Route 66 Cavendish Post: Witch hazel splash, Fine Platinum, Nivea sensitive balm WTG, touch-up Nice shave this morning with Cavendish and the Black Hawk. I may try and get one or two more shaves from the Cavendish and then move to a new sample. I've decided to go with Barbershop Hop for the next one. Good results this morning. Have a great day and ROLL TIDE this evening!!
Route 66 Bay Lime Twist B-400 Brush by Tom Dubl Duck Dwarf Thayers WH Ogallala Bay Rum Have a great week!
My 66 Soap is here(Cavendish)! Just from looking at it, I can well imagine how nice it will feel after applying.
Very nice, manly. I'll need to figure out the best aftershave to use with it...Maybe best with the Russian Leather and/or Sandalwood. Or the Stirling Gentleman sampler.
All right, now I can be a NBJan17 lol. Next month, I'll do my Stirling package order(by then I should be finished with my samples).
well, that looked good enough to be my first one from Kathleen. Man, it's a large tub! And I guess the Stirling will be larger than THAT.
replying to myself-after the Stirling order, I'll take a 2 month hiatus...I'll have plenty to work with for a while!!
Razor: Gillette Black Tip X 3 1952 Blade: Wilkinson Sword (2) Brush: Frank Shave Finest Faux Ebony Handle(travel brush) Soap: Route 66 Frozen Margarita Aftershave: Route 66 Frozen Margarita Balm What a great shave soap. The Route 66 Frozen Margarita has juicy notes of Mexican lime and sea salt, light hints of plum, berries and apple over mid notes of rose and jasmine; anchored with earthy, freshly cut hay, topped with a dash of cooling menthol. This followed by the Frozen Margarita Balm makes for an amazing shave.
The downside of using great products and developing technique is not needing to shave every day. As I suspected, not going to worry about counting my shaves. Route 66 Barbershop Hop B-400 Tuxedo synthetic Weck Sexto, Personna blade Fatip/Muhle, Ladas SS blade Alum block, New Old Spice AS
