SOTD January 22, 2017 Blade: Chinese Schick Razor: Schick G8 injector Brush: Omega Hi synthetic Lather: Route 66 Barbershop Hop Post: Witch hazel splash enhanced with Stirling Executive Man, Nivea sensitive balm WTG, touch-up Last shave with the Barbershop Hop sample. I tried a lathering method in the vein of @Bama Samurai. A little water on top of the soap in the bowl and begin loading with a dry brush. Lather immediately exploded. I've never tried that type of method but will try it again because it worked quite well. A really nice shave in the end with Barbershop Hop and a Schick G8 injector with fresh Chick blade. Smooth results. On to a new sample this week. Have a great day!

SOTD January 23, 2017 Blade: Chinese Schick Razor: Schick G8 injector Brush: Omega Hi synthetic Lather: Route 66 Rum Runner Post: Witch hazel splash enhanced with Stirling Mountain Man, Nivea sensitive balm WTG Excellent, shiny, beautiful lather this morning with Rum Runner. I dribbled a little water on the top of the puck and then began loading with the dry synthetic. Added a little water to the brush a couple of times while continuing to load. Then the face lathering produced terrific lather. Only went with one pass after a close shave less than 24 hours before. Nice shave overall. Tomorrow will begin a Sweeney Todd sample. Getting good results from this blade. What a shave brush. It is simply amazing. The Route 66 Frozen Margarita soap and balm are great. Excellent product Kathleen.
