I got this High Mountain White badger knot in exchange for setting a boar knot in a Rubberset 400 for a fellow shaver. I made this handle on May 22 with this knot in mind. I did not take pictures of the progress, so this is the finished product. I had a piece glued up already: cocobolo on the top and zebra wood on the bottom. So, with this knot in mind, all I had to do was turn it.

I plan to use Jayaruh #292 next week, so today, I put it through its first lathering with Soap Commander Renewal. That is my practice with all my natural hair brushes. Here is how it went.

Ready to go: Soap Commander Renewal, Turkish cup, JR#292.

Wet the brush, loaded for 25 seconds.

    Beautiful lather.

I let it sit for a while.

    Very rich, thick lather.

No, not even made yet. Someone had dibs on 300, but I don't remember who it was, and they have not responded to my reminder, so ...
I am not in a rush to get to 300. It will come.

Great looking brush Jim! I agree with PickledNorthern - always love to see your new brushes. Just used my Jayaruh #259 this morning. It gets a lot of use. Love faux horsehair knot and of course the nice long handle.
