A big thanks to all for your nice comments. I have put two coats of polycrylic on the handles now. I ordered two Maggard 24mm synthetic knots for these bad boys. So, It will be sometime next week before I can finish them.

I really wish you would stop making all these incredible brushes! It is such a temptation for me... But I have too many already!

Thank you, gentlemen. Today, I started gluing up two more with cypress and purple heart. In the pictures, I have made two cuts and glues. I am putting the knot at the top end of the handle.

I will let one of these go. I will be setting the Maggard knots when the arrive, probably Tuesday. Tomorrow, I will turn the other two that are presently glued and clamped.

I'd love to adopt one. Please consider me. I only have 2 brushes. Neither wood. They are lonely. The need a friend.

These handles are made of cypress with purple heart inlays. I really like the random knots that show up after turning.

Today, I cut the two handles off of the long piece and turned them into brush handles.
