Don't let Jim fool you. He's like those sculptors. Starts with a chunk of wood and all he does is remove the wood that isn't part of the shave brush handle. I kid, of course. There are craftsmen, then there are artist. I've been a wood butcher for decades but my "sculptures" are houses, garages, & sheds. As I develop my skills I've built a few cabinets. Jim's work is ART!
Yep, today I passed some DE blades, a sample of Clubman AS, and an old VDH board brush to friend of my neighbors. He was welcome to that old stray shedding brush, but the JR#130 is family. Tapatalk Via Kyocera
My son even has one in his dopp bag now. Jayaruh brushes not only span continents now, they span generations. It is difficult to tell from the photo, but that is a 19mm knot and is plenty big enough to load up for a good shave. @Jayaruh I meant to tell you Jim, that it had found a good home, and he used it last month on a week long trip. He said it worked great. Thanks!
congrats to him, and I see he bought some duggets(ducats? dukits?)in the raffle, so maybe he'll get another one. Or maybe I will!
