Welcome to @DaltonGang , our newest member of JROC. He is getting #262 without the knot. He is setting his own knot. Birdseye and ebony make up this brush.
Wooo Hooo!! Great work Jim. I just ordered a Silvertip Badger to put inside this fine looking handle.
This is one of the brushes I considered getting. Glad I let it stay. Congrats my friend @9nein9 wonderful choice.
Finally used my brushes that Jim made me and they feel awesome in the hand. The synthetic has nice backbone while still soft and the handle feels amazing in my hand. The badger is ooh sooo soft with decent backbone. It’s a shedder but I’m assuming because it’s really new.
Thanks Fuzzy. I'm tickled this was still available. Can't wait for it to arrive. It will be my first badger knot .
Thanks. I asked if he could make me one, out of Birdseye and Ebony, and @Jayaruh was nice enough to special order the wood.

Beautiful brush and razor! I've been looking for one of those Schicks... Maybe someday. One can dream. Josh Sent from my SM-N950U1 using Tapatalk
Thanks! The production models aren't too hard to find and prices have been trending downward on the bay lately.
Newest member of the Jayaruh Owners Club (JROC) is @Screwtape for adopting JR #267. Birdseye maple with Omega 49 boar knot. It is heading to Canadia tomorrow.
It is a very hard wood, but I get gorgeous results. I had a piece left over and made one more brush. I foresee working with it again in the future.
Look at the woods from this site. Very interesting woods. http://www.bellforestproducts.com/exotic-wood/
I rebounded back from an "average" shave yesterday, with a great one today. I believe my Jayaruh #59 was a key factor.
