Jayaruh #267 arrived in the mail this afternoon (well, yesterday afternoon now, I guess). Gorgeous handle and I really like the Omega boar knot too. This is what it looks like after my first test lather using it. The other brush, btw, was a Semogue Owners Club cherrywood boar brush that I recently had reset with a Tuxedo synthetic knot, because the original boar knot was wimpy and also a shedder.
I received #269 today and it's fantastic! Classic barbershop style compliments my lather catcher with a JR handle. The design is better than I imagined when I asked Jim to make it. I really like the knot, soft but enough backbone to lather well. You nailed this one Jim!
WOW ! Perfect combo! I also got a brush and Jayaruh lather catcher that match, but the walnut stain is great here. I am inspired, using my comBo tonight with a GEM JR BAR
Stuffed a stick of Palmolive into a small tub since I don't face lather. The JR #130 fit just right to load the Maggard Sunrise synthetic knot. Loving the shape of a classic barber's brush that Jim crafted from a piece of cypress into the style of an Omega Pro #10098 shape.
Congratulations to @john zeiger , the newest member of Jayaruh Owners Club (JROC) . He has adopted JR #259.
Jim, I just wanted to let you know that I just received the brush and looks even better in my hand then the picture above and the picture above looks great. Now I can't wait to give it a whirl. Thank you again for everything.
Thank you, John. Glad it got there OK. At least my photographic skills are doing the job right. I'd much rather it look better in person. Happy Resurrection Weekend.
Congratulations to @mayer57619 for winning my pif and getting his first Jayaruh brush #227. You, Justin, are now a member of the Jayaruh Owners Club.
