What kind to Jayaruh Brush do you have Paul? This is mine It contains a faux horsehair knot. The handle is very ergonomic and the knot whips up a great lather. I've really been enjoying my Jayaruh brush.
59 is my only one thus far. (Sorry, I'm unskilled at doing photos here). I always do well with the 59. Comfortable grip, gets good lather(although that part is up to me as well of course.....I worry about my loading skills at times). Yours looks great, John.
Maggard's Sunrise synthetic knot? Looks much like my #130! Great lather every time. Tapatalk Via Kyocera
Ryx, also a great looking brush. Thank you for sharing. It looks like a lot of us are enjoying the fruits of Jayaruh's talent. I not only really enjoy my brush but I like it as a momento of TSD.
Welcome to JROC @lloydrm. Your brush is one fine looking brush. Jim does a great job on his brushes. I love mine. Enjoy!
Thank you. I think I have quite a lengthy breaking in time ahead of me with that loft. I am patient when the reward is a great brush such as this.
Got mine in the mail today! Man what a classic looking brush. I love the look of it. I just had to shave tonight instead of in the morning. I’ve never shaved with a boar brush before and expected it to be pretty scritchy. It ended up not being scritchy one bit. I really enjoyed how much backbone it had as I’m so used to my uber floppy brush. Great brush @jayruh Going to have to get another one in the near future now. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
Welcome to The Rabbit Hole! Best of both worlds; JR handle & a boar knot. Is it an Omega boar? They make great knots, but the handles tend to be on the cheap plastic side.
Yeah it is an Omega Pro knot. I really liked the feel of it for the first shave Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Let's welcome @brit to Jayaruh Owners Club (JROC) . He has adopted JR 282, a 400 style brush, zebrawood handle with a Maggard 2-band badger.
