Sledge Hammer! Season 1. I really liked this show back when it was on, after they killed Police Squad. The gags still hold up.

The one where he's trying to defuse a bomb and everone chants "Go Sledge, go Sledge!" while his boss in another room says "Go bomb, go bomb!"

    After Porn 2
Much better than the first. Much more professionally done.

Watched this with the kids earlier this evening. Okay but not great. I guess I expected more but the music was pretty good. The girls like it so I guess that's all that matters.

Which BvS did you see? The extended cut makes things a bit better.

The original Batman (and I mean Keaton) was dark and brooding, but better than the newer DC stuff (though the Dark Knight trilogy was pretty good). Besides, have you seen the Captain America from the 80s/Early 90s? Wouldn't exactly call it fun. And the original X-men weren't quite as fun as the newer stuff.

Honestly Marvel didn't figure out the formula for movies until Iron Man in my opinion.

Last night I watched Masters of the Universe with Dolph Lundgren as He-Man. Cheesy as hell, but I really love that movie. Good Journey.

Agreed except for He man, never saw it.

I saw the first theatrical cut of BvS, I guess. Stupidly overpowered Doomsday.

It might be on Netflix. It really isn't a bad movie.

As for BvS, if you can stomach a second viewing try the extended cut. It makes some things more understandable, but it still feels like a prequel.

Yesterday I watched Mission Impossible: Rogue Nation (10/10), John Wick Chapter 2 (8/10), and The Great Wall (7/10). I thought the 2nd Wick movie was good, but both the fighting and the storyline in the first movie was vastly superior, IMHO.

I watched The Bunker last night. It was a 1981 made for TV movie with Anthony Hopkins about Hitler's last days in the bunker.

    Overall it was pretty good.

Never was a big fan of Alfred Hitchcock but I borrowed from the local library the dvd, "STRANGERS ON A TRAIN".

It was quite good and Robert Walker was outstanding as the creepy killer 'Bruno".

Just finished watching Martin Scorsese's, "SILENCE".

    A slow paced thoughtful movie.

Saw the new Wonder Woman with the family today. Decent movie with pretty good action though I was very disappointed that Lynda Carter didn't make a cameo.

I kind of like Hitchcock, but I watched that one a couple months ago not realizing it was a Hitchcock movie until now. I'm just a sucker for anything set on a train. Makes sense now that you say it. Also doesn't realize that the girlfriend's sister was Hitchcock's daughter. Cool/creepy premise to trade murders.

Did see "Wonder Woman" last week. The good news is Gal Gadot has wonderful screen presence and makes a comic character believable.
The bad news, just another "Hollywood" blockbuster movie that is basically formulated for mass appeal.
    Ho Hum.

Glad to see I'm not alone in these sentiments after seeing this film last week.
Any potential for an entertaining summer film is hamstrung by a painfully-predictable script with an uninteresting supporting cast of characters and villains. BTW: The Brits (BCI) in WW1 didnt have their own spies to trust to send behind German lines & so they send an American? I'd believe a woman can fly with a shield before I believe that little fantasy...:D
