Guess what's next?

 

I thought Suicide Squad was kind of mediocre as well. I was disappointed at how little screen time the Joker had. Kind of deceiving with regard to how prevalent he was in the previews and commercials.

I was kind of interested in seeing sully until the reviews started coming out stating how inaccurate the movie was. The whole third degree from the investigators apparently never happened. I guess Hollywood can't tell a story without a bad guy and/or creating needless drama. Tom Hanks is top notch though.

I guess that the difference between a documentary and a drama. A documentary isn't going to get the box office draw of a well done drama, and a drama needs, well, drama. It's the reason I avoid movies "based on a true story". I prefer my fiction not to be portrayed as a true story.

 

Batman vs. Superman. It was much better than I expected, after hearing all of the crying online. It wasn't perfect, but it was enjoyable.

 

Yep, "based on a true story" or "inspired by true events" Hollywood's going to add what they think will sell tickets.

Barry. I got through maybe 20 minutes and had to stop watching.

 

Just saw that. My oldest took my wife and I out. I really enjoyed it. I never got into all the ancillary stuff though, i.e books etc.

Double Feature

Suicide Squad - Terrible 1/10. I am now more stupid for having watched this movie and will need to take medication to help repair the damage.

Central Intelligence - Light hearted any funny. Well done. Great rental. 7/10. Corns are mythical beasts.

My wife and I watched The Accountant (2016) last night. Great shoot em up. Gave it 10/10. I was pleasantly surprised, given it's got Ben Affleck in it.
