Small cast, standard SciFi sets, nothing new, but still enjoyable.

Pick up "Lawrence of Arabia" on DVD from the local library this weekend.

Granted it should best be seen on a large screen my PC had to do.

Great cast, screen play and music plus Peter O'Toole in the lead.

I watched "Rear Window" last night. It's my favorite Hitchcock film.

    Magnificent 7 (2016) -- 10/10. One word: WOW!

Also watched The Lion, The Witch, and the Wardrobe again, since my wife and I haven't seen any of the later movies, and are about to work our way through all of them. Just as good as it was 11 years ago. 9/10 on that one.

The original "7"? I just added it to my list. Thanks! Like my list isn't already long enough! Lol!

World at War...absolutely *great* series. "WWI" was pretty good, but they repeat too many quotes, and even more film clips. Some spots lagged a second or two, going back and repeating a bit of a scene, but not too frequently. Seemed to go off-topic now and then, but still interesting.

    Prince Caspian (2008). I give it a solid 9/10.

Last night the b&w version of Rio Grande with John Wayne and Maureen O'Hara. Love the Cavalry Trilogy by John Ford!

Saw Rogue One the other night. Not entirely sure on this one. Entertaining but it didn't seem to have the same spirit as the originals. Better than the later Lucas "Star Wars" movies though.
I did think it was kind of odd that Force Awakens was way in the future of the story and then Rogue goes back to the middle. We're then going to jump ahead again to continue Force Awakens. The order just seemed odd.

Watched The Chronicles of Narnia- Voyage of the Dawn Treader last night with my wife, and this movie didn't seem like it fit with the first two films in the series AT ALL... I almost fell asleep in the middle. I'd say it's ok to watch once, but if you haven't seen it, you're really not missing much. The CG was overused, and frankly, poorly done, especially considering this came out in 2010. A lot of the dialogue seemed stilted and unnatural, as well. Gave it a weak 7/10.

The War Of The Worlds (1953) at the Kimo Theater in Albuquerque. Was it cheesy? Yes! Was it great? YES!! 9/10 from the sci-fi nerd in me. I loved it!

I thought that movie was great also. I liked Gene Barry a lot.
