Smoke Signals (1998). I've seen this one a couple times before. I give it a 10/10.

MY FAVORITE YEAR, starring Peter O'Toole

Peter at his best playing a charming rascal.

 

Take (2007). If you don't like slow movies, you'll hate this one. I contemplated deep sixing this one about 30 minutes in, but I'm glad I didn't. I give it 7/10 for Minnie Driver's performance.

"Lillies of the Field" starring Sidney Poitier just ended on TCM. Was one of my Mom's favorite movies.

Saw Going in Style with the Mrs - perfect date night movie - just nice light entertainment - which she likes - and starring some great old actors - which I like.

Spielberg' masterpiece, "Schindler's List." Captivating, mesmerizing, heart-breaking and thoroughly thought-provoking. A tribute to doing good in the midst of overwhelming evil.

"The Lost Battalion". Little Ricky Schroeder did a helluva job there.

 

"All Quiet on the Western Front", the 1930 original. Powerful movie.
