Ok this one is driving me nuts. Is it just a regular Wilkinson Sword classic w/out the out black tubing - or is it another model? For some reason it looks familiar but I can't seem to place it.. The handle, as you can see below is silver (plastic I would assume) and with a silver top cap (also plastic I'd say); Regular Wilkinson Classic:
It looks like the flip top with the casing of the Profile MK1 cartridge razor. The aluminum casing was used in the late 70's... I just googled for it , and I have one ...
Omg...you got a Wilkinson Flip Top (far right) NIB!!! Phew...ok.... So, it seems like it's a "Wilkinson Double Edge". How generic Does that DE of yours (in the middle) have that same silvery top cap - and can you tell if the handle is metal (tube) or plastic? So, yeah, wow...thanks for showing that NIB Flip Top... You don't see THAT every day........
That might be what I remembered. I was googling "Wilkinson Contour", "Wilkinson Profile", etc. Pretty sure I also googled "Wilkinson dumb silver ribbed looking handle" Told you I was getting senile. Thanks again.
It's not a flip-top as can be seen on the packaging. I would say it's a metal casing, I think the head is also metal. It was made in West Germany.
Thanks again - yeah it looks like it's a two-piece just like the Wilkinson Classic. Now open up the box and let me know how it shaves
