Looking for advice on shave soaps/cream/gels

Alright Guru's, I need advice. Looking at Maggard Black Friday sale, I found a few brushes on sale. Looking for opinions on which one is the best to go with. Omega Pure Boar http://www.maggardrazors.com/product/black-friday-omega-13564-pure-boar-bristle-shaving-brush/

This may be too late. But, the Omega's that I highly recommend are the 10066 (at this link), and the 81025 (here). Though, I would imagine that any of brushes that have similar knots would perform equally well. As to the Maggard brush, I too am not very fond of the purple handle either, but you might find these more to your liking:

I like the look of the marble brush a little better. The handle shapes are identical and I like them. The knots perform identically for me.
