Looking for another ''vintage'' Double Edge Razor- any tips and advice?

That is a three piece very nice razor, a little more on the aggressive side; not too hard to find in my experience.

 

The Fatboy won't give you a better shave than the Krona. Spend that silly Fatboy money on two or three other interesting razors mentioned here. My Single Ring, Goodwill, and Fat Handle Tech combined cost less than my Fatboy (no longer in residence).Just my opinion.

+1 for the New, I prefer the short comb over the long comb. The Red Tip is great as well. Don't over look single edge razors though. Injectors and Gem style razors are a lot of fun, usually less expensive, and provide great shaves too!

 

If you liked the Krona (like me) you'd probably like most things in the Gillette Super Speed family. The Red Tip is one of my faves along with the Slim, but I like them all (except for the Fat Boy - don't like the shape of the head).
