Here we have a set of Ebony scales with a high impact white acrylic spacer, then finished with bees wax, then a glosswax 18, then buffed to a nice polished finish, i'm waiting for the right blade, i kept everything minimalistic and modern with clean angular lines, will finish wihtout using a back pin only a single pivot pin using nickel silver pin, and stainless steel washers, the blade must be a square point i just dont see any other shape blade fitting into the scales. Jamie.
I agree. Square blade. Not too much razzmatazz on the blade either. Just a 'simple' minimalistic blade. Good quality, though, so it deserves the scales. Beautiful scales, btw!
I saw a website recently (this week) where a guy had a couple hundred NOS Sheffield blades. He would fit them into any scales you wanted, and I'm sure he would sell just the blade. Unfortunately, I can't remember the website. I'll try find it again.
I have a American 1930s American Kinsfolk made in New york square point comming my way, i'm hopeful this will be the blade, fingers crossed. Jamie.
