Lyle's Golden Syrup Vault

Up to now I didn't have a proper vault for used blades. I just put them aside thinking: "I'll make me one later on". This morning, however, I used the last of our tin of Lyle's Golden Syrup (heavenly taste BTW). And then it dawned upon me that I could use it for a vault. After cleaning the last of the stickyness out I just made a slit in the lid. Ready! As it is a reasonably large tin, I guess it will cost me a lifetime to fill it to the brim!

I use something similar. Yours is much more classier

 

Have a Med Cabinet with a Blade Slit in the back of it. The wall hasn't filled since 1927!(;-).

 

Hope no one ever needs to get into the wall for repairs.

 

I have an old salsa jar I cleaned out and glued the lid on and then made a slit in but since we moved, I now have a med icne cabinet with a slit in it that I use. Its all I can do to keep from wanting to just keep feeding blades in that hing. It was MADE for us!

 

My wife has to do injections every night (not insulin, but similar) so we have these:

 

Nicely done and cool looking too. But, um, I think you need some bacon to go with that syrup.

I sold an old house to a rehabber recently who called me a few weeks after purchasing and asked why he fould a bunch of old razor blades in the bathroom wall. I think he got a much more detailed explanation from me than he was looking for, lol!

 

No offense to anyone on here, but I actually find the idea of posting used blades in the wall pretty irresponsible - just my opinion mind.

 

Biggest blade bank I've ever seen..and yes classy too. It'll hold so many blades, I think your grand children will putting their blades into it!
