On the brush handle, I used my drill and drum sander to shape it. I started with a piece I cut off of a stick that I had previously cut into an octagonal prism. Then I drew circles on each end and rounded it to the circle. After that I used the drum to make the waist and further shape the handle. Lastly, I used sand paper to smooth it all out. I did use my drill press to put the knot hole in with a forstner bit.
This is not the Knot that will go in the handle. It is just for the picture. It is too small. After it dries really well, I will do another coat of poly.
Fantastic! A match made in Cackalacky Jim that is the perfect combo. Tom Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
Winner winner! Very nice set. Time for a set of matching scales for a straight razor since you joined the Darkside
Jim That is one sweet setup. The knot goes perfectly with everything. Well done. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
