March Madness PIF!!

Well, it's March and that means it's time for a PIF!! After a long and cold winter in some places (not so much in the Lou) it's great to know Spring is just around the corner. And what better way to celebrate the annual switch to great weather than winning some fine, fine Russian steel, eh? Here's what's up for grabs:



You're looking at 300 of the finest blades from the Motherland. All entries will be divided into one of two groups. The first group will be those who have been members of TSD for 6 months or less. We'll just call them the Freshman group. The other - for those who have been members for over 6 months. I'd call them the Seniors but.....college basketball doesn't have many Seniors anymore. We'll just call them the "One and Doners".

The PIF will be open through March 19th. It is open to all members of TSD. When you enter I'll use the date you joined to put you in the right group.

At 12:01 a.m. on March 20th I'll draw a winner from each group using random.org. The winner of each group will receive 120 blades - or one of the cards shown above. They're identical in the blades so no worries. Then, I'll combine both groups together for a third drawing to give away the 60 blades that are scattered across the others. So, in a nutshell.

Freshman (6 months and under members ) - 120 blades
One & Doners (over 6 months) - 120 blades
Consolation prize - 60 blades

So, you ask, how do you enter? Simple. Reply with "I'm in" AND attach a picture that has to do with Spring, March Madness, basketball, spring training, crazy Russians - whatever. Funny/creative pics especially encouraged. There may also be an extra prize for the best picture submission. Here's one to start the creative juices flowing!

I am currently reading "Seventeen Moments of Spring" by Yulian Semyonov, which is a spy thriller written by a Russian about an undercover agent in Germany during WWII. So my picture will be this:
