March = TSD PIF Month! *DONE*

Happy Monday From Florida!

Last year was a fanatastic success with PIF month, and so far this year, we have seen some super cool PIF's in February leading up to March. Here are just a few:

When I first got started with our hobby, I was PIF'd a very nice blade sampler, you can read the full story here. That small act of kindness from a complete stranger prompted me to give away untold amounts of shave gear over the last two years, including buying enough generic 3-piece razors that I have enough to give one away every month for the next eight years in the Newbie Giveaway thread. I have given so much stuff away that I was given my own special title that you see under my avatar.

The spirit of the PIF is alive and well here at TSD, and it is one of the many things that make TSD the best wet shave board on the planet! When you joined this board, you did not join an internet forum; you joined a family!

Now it is your turn! We are shooting for 100 PIF's this month, can we do it? Participation is completely voluntary, especially when you consider the rough economic times we are dealing with. If you can't play, no big deal, in fact, you should make it a point to get in on every PIF available so you can build up your gear to play next year!

Here are the rules - there are none! All you have to do is post a link to your PIF in this thread. Run a contest, play a game, get creative, like Justin did here.


Shawna and I will be selecting the most creative PIF contest and awarding a special prize to that person, but you only qualify if you remember to post a link to your PIF in this thread!

A Gillette A-1 Code (1951?) President! Cased even! Sorry, no original sealed blades... but hey! This is an A-1 President! TTO even! We are pretty sure it is Rhodium plated from the factory... Jody will hopefully drop by and confirm its provenance... pweeze?

Sounds like March will be an exciting month for everyone. I have been the recipient of some generous PIFs. over my nearly two years here. Everyone here is always willing to help other members out.
