    A 4 generation foursome. That is awesome, Jim! I’m sure it is good to be back home as well.
    My grandfather taught me to play. I played golf every tues and thurs -once school was out- with him from about age 8 to 17.My dad didn’t play. I would have given a lot for my son to play with my grandfather.

    Nacets are excellent blades regardless of the ‘holder’, imho. You can go to through a lot of razors -and have tonnes of fun- trying to find one it isn’t great in, Gary!

    I’d never heard of that razor, Andrew. Is it new to you? Great write up!
    Even with all those awesome newer brushes, the Purest still ranks?

    Thanks Jason! I've had this razor for quite a while but it doesn't get much use due to its hyper aggressive nature. The Satin Tip is just a fantastic performing little brush. A soap sipper compared to it's bigger cousins but it never fails to produce a creamy shiny lather in no time. The knot also has a tiny bit of scritch to it compared to the later generation synthetics.

    Does it have more blade feel? I have a couple Super Max blades, which where very forgiving when I first started using a DE, which I think I might begin with.

    Buddha's Birthday shave

    It is a holiday here and it is Mayhem so a perfect time for the 'vampire razor', a Robert Williams Purist with pointy tip and heel. This razor rewards technique and punish errors by quickly drawing blood. I only use this razor when I have time and focus. Today I was rewarded with an epic shave.
