Menthol Monday: Neutrogena Men Facial Wash Large Horsehair Barbershop Super Speed/new Sharp Stirling Glacial Obsidian SS Stirling Glacial Wintergreen WH Oscar de la Renta Pour Lui EdT The same set-up as yesterday morning and I said I was going to use it again. The other day when I was lathering up with the Glacial Obsidian soap, within seconds the menthol effect jumped on me and my eyes were tearing from it. The longer the lather was on my face, the colder it felt and when I slapped on the Glacial Wintergreen witch hazel, I felt a freezing sensation from it which lasted almost the whole morning - was it beautiful!

Plan For Menthol Monday, SEptember 29, 2014 A Cold Water Shave Cool Water Shower - Neutrogena Face Wash Proraso Green Schick Injector L-1 Whipped Dog Boar Brush
Shave of the day, menthol Monday Pre- Hot shower, Bulldog face wash Soap/cream- Proraso green Brush- The body shop Synthetic Razor- Gillette slim adjustable(3) Blade- Astra SP Post- Cold water rinse, Speick for men and Nivea aftershave balm Menthol Monday with Proraso today. I really like the chill proraso gives. 2 pass shave WTG and some touch ups. I did something new in the post shave routine. I squeezed the leftover lather from the brush and applied to face, I left it there while cleaning up and then rinsed with cold water. The chill from the menthol got much stronger and I loved it =D I usually rinse the residual lather off of my face with warm water and then do my cold water rinse to close the pores. I will be doing this from now on, at least with menthol soaps/creams.
Menthol Monday A very easy, smooth and comfortable shave this morning. FrostByte is a top three soap for me because of the cold, tea tree oil, and ease of use. Krampert's Finest Frostbite is an excellent compliment for skincare and keeping the chill going for at least half an hour. Prep: warm shower Soap: Synergy FrostByte Brush: HIS XL Razor: iKon ShaveCraft 101 Blade: Personna lab blue (3) AS: Krampert's Finest Frostbite
Menthol Monday: Gatsby Ice Cooling Gel Facial Wash Large Horsehair Barbershop Super Speed/new Sharp Synergy Frost_byte SS 444 AS Balm Osage Rub AS Pino Silvestre EdT Just thinking about all these items is enough to almost cause me to start shivering because every one of them is damned cold. That Gatsby facial wash gives a hell of a menthol wallop, especially after it's been on your face for a minute or two. After the Stirling Glacial soaps, I'd say the Frost_byte is my second coldest soap and it's very well-named because the menthol sensation is really powerful, and it gives awesome lather and skincare. There aren't too many other balms which give the cooling and soothing effect that the 444 gives, and the Rubby Dubby Doo is in a class by itself for iciness!
9/29/2014 Menthol Monday! Woo Hoo!! I finished up the Yeti Snot sample that I won in a PIF. This has been the coldest shave soap that I have used so far. The R41 and the W&D Bow had no trouble with mowing down the 2 days of stubble. The AV kept the chill going and the Pure Distance M will have me smelling great all day. Have a blessed day!

Menthol Monday: Gatsby Ice Cooling Gel Facial Wash Large Horsehair Barbershop Super Speed/new Sharp Stirling Glacial Wintergreen SS Stirling Glacial Wintergreen WH Oscar de la Renta Pour Lui EdT When you use this kind of set-up it almost feels like you need to wear a fur coat because that's how cold it is. The Gatsby facial wash is so mentholated that it's stronger than some soaps and creams which I have. The Glacial Wintergreen soap can make your eyes tear as well as freeze your face off, and its scent is great. The lather is easy to work with if you add a little extra water. The matching witch hazel is the absolute Mother of All Face-Freezing Aftershaves - it's wonderful, and I love it.
