@crackstar I admire your ability to seek out the most mentholated shave possible; I'm not there yet, but love my Osage Rub and can't wait for Rod to come out with a Frozen Tundra Aftershave/Witch hazel (love that scent, maybe he can make it with Glacial levels menthol).

PS: TSD Iced Subzero getting in tomorrow!!! I'll probably be having a menthol Tuesday/Wednesday to celebrate.

I'm gonna have so much fun freezin' my face off with every item I've selected for this shave. The Neutrogena facial wash is REALLY cold if you leave it on for a minute or two. The Frost_byte soap is so darned easy to lather that anyone can do it, and its menthol power is off the charts - in fact, as I've said several times that it's my second coldest soap after my Glacials. The Gold Bond moisturizer is downright icy and soothing, and finally the Rubby Dubby Doo can really make a man shiver after shaving even without any menthol. I want to see how a Dorco blade performs in my Super Speed - who knows, maybe I'll be pleasantly surprised.

Oh boy, this time I'm going overboard with the menthol and I'm going to freeze my pretty little face off to the absolute max. Even the Neutrogena facial wash is darned chilly when you leave it on for a minute or two. The Glacial Obsidian soap starts off icy and within seconds it feels almost painful, with each pass feeling colder than the previous one. The menthol fumes bring "tears of joy" to your eyes as well. The Anherb conditioner gives a supporting frigid blast with awesome soothing comfort to a freshly-shaven face, and the Glacial Wintergreen witch hazel almost numbs you afterwards. I think very highly of the 7 AM blades - they're sharp and very smooth.

Had an excellent shave this menthol morning. WD Boar whipped up a mountain of cold frosty lather. The combination of Gold Bond Lotion and Proraso green gave a cooling finish to a great shave. Enjoy the burn my friends.

Razor: Star Pat. 1912, John Jay Velvet Shaver straight razor
Blade: GEM PTFE coated SE blade (3)
Brush: Turkish #6
Soap: Sterling - Margaritas In The Arctic
After: Home made ASB, Osage Rub after shave
Cologne: Avon - Tarazza

A cold Darn Fine Shave + on this cold 37 degree morning. The #6 whipped up the the MITA well. The MITA brought on the first wave of chilliness. The Star and the Velvet had no problems with mowing down the stubble. The Osage Rub brought the chill to the next level for about 20 minutes. The Tarazza finished off the shave and will keep me smelling good for the rest of the day.

This is the Mother of all Menthol Freezes in just about every aspect that one could imagine, because each item is so cold. The Neutrogena facial wash has a ton of menthol in it, then the Glacial Obsidian soap which freezes like there's no tomorrow. Add some Anherb conditioner if you want to continue the chill and give your skin some fabulous moisturizing and soothing, then finally a good splash or two of the Glacial Wintergreen witch hazel will make you feel like your face is coming off - that's how cold it is!

Today's shave was excellent, the Frost Factor was up. '47 Super Speed may be the best SS of all. Outstanding BBS on two passes. Rather than rotating razors daily, I will use each for a week from now on. Have a great week folks!
