It is a fabulous razor. Very smooth, but a bit fussy. It's so light that it tends to do its own thing unless you have a very firm grip on it. Once you've tamed it, it gives fantastic shaves, assuming closed comb DE razors are your thing. My beard is too course for it, but it performed comparable to my Futur on 3, but without the constant mortal peril :D

Weight = 15 grams...that is about the weight of regulation casino poker chip I believe.

    $30.00.

Oooh! Hey! What about a time share razor? We could get a few people to go in on it and buy a week worth of shaves for a buck or so...then sell it in the classifieds and donate the cash to TSD...

I like it. I have had it for 3 months and its given me some nice shaves, No problems. Be careful with tightening it as I have read that some have stripped the threads to it.

    Good luck!!

Apparently not. It's between 8.5 and 10 grams. Still, about 1-1/2 chips in weight is rather light.

Still, I'll bring the 45 up when my wife asks what I want for Christmas.

GO FOR IT! I was happy with my HD until I tried this razor. Super light, yet great, close, comfortable shave. It even works with the Merkur blades included.

I have one of most of the Gillette razors, plus the HD that was my go to before I got this one. It has spoiled me for all the others.

But if you did want high quality poker chips in the 15 gram range, they are available.

I think I would be too inclined to use pressure as it weighs so little, about a quarter ounce.

Have you ever used one of the older bakelite razors?

I'd like to try one. I have a Neillite 400 that I love, one of those German Bakelite WW2 unissued razors (not great with modern thin blades) and an old bakelite razor that shaves like a Tech. I like Bakelite razors a lot

    Looks like something out
    of the 50's.

It is very much like several bakelite razors made in the 40's and 50's...nearly identical to some, in fact!

It seems to be getting great reviews...enough to catch my interest. I tend to prefer the very heavy razors but with the great reviews and a price less than $20 (Amazon & Royal Shave) I might just have to give this one a try. :D
