Wow, what a cream this is! I received it a couple of weeks as part of a HUGE haul from Russia which a very good friend of mine from the Britva forum over there sent me. Nuff said, read and see! Ease of lathering: 10/10--A small amount goes a LONG way! Longevity of lather: 10/10--Lasts forever and a day! General skincare: 8/10--Pretty good that way. Moisturizes well with good protection. Scent: 7/10--Look, it's soapy-scented like the name implies! (It smells nice!) Price: 10/10--Very cheap in Russia. About 1,50$ EUR Would I buy again: 10/10--For sure. This is actually my fifth time getting this cream. Believe it or not this cream was one of 50, yes, FIFTY creams and aftershave balms which my dear friend Leonid in Vladivostok sent me. This M'iln'iy cream is very plain and simple as you'll notice on the packaging. Its scent is pleasant and does it ever lather nicely for a good, smooth shave and a very comfortable feeling afterwards. It's made by Svoboda in Moscow.
I enjoyed the tube of Soapy SC and Balm I had a few years ago from Dimitry. It has been a while since I have finished it up.
In my case, it was because I knew someone in Lithuania. But it's not all that hard. Just find a member from Eastern Europe and offer to do a trade with them.
Where this friend of mine lives is not too far from Dmitry. In fact he and I met personally and let me tell you that he's an absolutely fantastic guy. He and his wife were guests of ours and his wife is a lovely lady. He wishes he could join here but he doesn't speak a word of English. My wife was freaking out at the beginning because she never realized that I speak Russian like a native Russian. Dmitry's English is actually pretty darn decent!
There are a few sellers of different Russian and Eastern Euro product on ebay. Another that I really enjoyed was Eveline from Poland, but it looks like the one I had was discontinued as I don't see it anywhere on their website.
Imaginative naming too as well as nice plain packaging - "Cream for shaving". It seems to do what it says on the pack!!
I'm going to have to make a friend in Eastern Europe! Surely they'd like something from Texas, right??
I found three Russian creams on the bay in one auction. One of them was an apple blossom scent... anyone tried that one?
Heck, had I known that, I would not have included Tet in my frankencream. I am still hoarding my Noxzema though.
