Po angliski (in English) CTAPT=START! I like both creams equally but to me the best cream from Svoboda is Arbat. It's named after a street in Moscow!
Thanks Jeff. Not know the alphabet makes it difficult to speak of these creams. I did know that CTAPT was Start.
There's one cream from Svoboda which I don't like. It's called Comme Il Faut. It lathers very well like the other creams but it has an unpleasant eucalyptus scent and although menthol is listed as an ingredient, it's not detectable. This cream has poor skincare so it's not for me.
Dodi, these reviews you post are always so great. One of these days, I'll dig my brush and a cream or a soap out of my closet and shave my beard off. But not yet!
I tried a couple of Eveline creams and balms but they didn't rock my world. By the way, they were made in Poland, and sold in Russia, Ukraine, and Belorus.
OK, I bought those three Russian creams that are being sold together on the bay, so I'll have to let y'all know how they turn out... very affordable as he'll combine some shipping costs... pretty cool!
Overall Russia produces terrific creams and aftershaves. Svoboda is a leading cosmetic company in Moscow.
There's another Russian company which produces very good shaving stuff. It's called TIM. I have a couple of creams which are: Breeze Svezhyest (it has menthol) Breeze Energy (citrusy-scented) This company was purchased by Russia in 1998 from Bulgaria. Originally they only made women's cosmetics, but when the Russians bought the company they added two lines for men.
Jeff, you always have the best reviews! I bought Ingram because you use it and boy is that stuff great. Looks like I need some Russian creams. Thanks buddy!!
Reckon I've been hoarding these for a while. And obvious I use the shave cream more than the aftershave balm.
Thanks Rich. Just glad I wasn't drinking anything when I read that. I hate liquids coming out my nose.
I'll send you this vile potion if you're hankering for Tet-a-Tet... I bought it in 2012 and only used it twice. The first time, I ignored everyone's turned up noses, coughing and teary eyes. The second time, I didn't make it out of the house before I went and took another shower to wash it off. Translated: COLOGNE (top of label) NEW DAWN (bottom of label)
Sorry for the late reply but I remember having that cologne. Oh yeah, I understood right away what is written on the bottle. My Russian is better than my English, remember?
