Does anyone else mix their aftershaves, especially splashes? (When I say mix what I really mean is layer different scents.) For example Captain's Choice lime and bay rum mix very well.
I try to coordinate my scents. I have found several combos i enjoy. None last very long, i can understand no making an issue about it. But i do tend to match similar items or combos i like. Sandalwood/ rose Lime/coconut Lime/Florida water Orange/Florida water Aqua scents/mints Citrusy themes including lemon/lime/orange/grapefruits all mix nicely. Like i said, i may be the only one enjoying the smells, because they dont last very long. But I'm good with that. Their mine, I'll enjoy them my way.
i mixed some english leather cologne and razorock puros in a small bottle.nice tobacco- leather scent that lasts awhile.paired it with p and b spitfire soap.works ok for me.anything else i just use on its own..
Rethinking this, I guess I do layer my scents. My shampoo has a different scent than my Bath soap that has a different scent than my Shave soap that has a different scent than my Aftershave that has a different scent than my Cologne that has a different scent than my Pit stick. And my wife always tells me I smell good
I have not tried mixing aftershaves, but I have mixed soaps of different scents with much success. Stirling orange chill with Stirling glacial lemon chill worked quite well for me.
I have a mixture of three I use since individually either they are either too week or too strong: Approx... 40% Shea Butter AS 40% Imperial Barber (with some added essential oils) 20% Pinaud Clubman It has a nice citrussy smell that does not quite linger as long as Clubman does on its own.
