Proud owner of a batch 2 satin. I have since sold off the 2 stock handles I got with the razor. I'm currently using a Triad hex in brass that has been bead blasted with the head. I'd love to become a member!
Added 5) @wristwatchb 6) @Skinny Rogers to the roster Let me know if I missed anyone and I'll. It's a small but growing club
I own 2 B2 Satins. I rotate them in with the Cobras. I have to use the Feather Pro Super blade with the 'goose for terrific shave.
From the outside 11 weeks looks like a long time! From the inside of the wet shaving community 11 weeks is a blessing, and here's why. 1. You put your name on the list. 2. Now that your name is on said list you will get a razor. 3. You don't need to be online at 12:00pm PST or was it EST? And keep clicking refresh. 4. Sold out in 2 minutes! 5. Go to online shopping site and spend 3times the amount that it's worth. 6. Patience is a virtue
Really so true. I hate trying to be the quickest on the key board and find out something is sold out.
Just got my Mongoose Satin with a Dr. Bomber handle (photos to follow) and it is everything I hoped for and then some. Had a great shave with it the other day using a Kai Captain Mild Blade. I just ordered a Polished Head from them along with a Dub Legend Handle as I was told by them that they still have a couple left in stock. I should be getting both by next week, Can't Wait
My Mongoose came in today I had to pick up the £21 duty which is always hard to swollow, but after seeing the razor all was forgotten the fit and finish on the razor is superb the polished head is flawless not even the faintest swirl, I was also very pleased with my Jurgen Hempel custom Titanium blue anodized handle I choose a while ago it really compliments the stainless steel polished head perfectly.
Sweet! The goose is by FAR the best razor I've ever had. I combine mine (batch 2 head in satin finish) to a Weber classic handle and I love the weight and balance it gives it. I've tried my sampler pack and turns out I'm a big fan of the Feather Pro. I guess the full pack of ProGuard is simply going to collect dust now. Off to taking pictures when I get home! BTW the blue handle looks phenomenal!
