Muhle R41

I'm pretty sure I just bought a Muhle R41 from "The Modern Man" website for $30.20 shipped to the US. This is almost half the price that I have ever seen it offered before.

With the $$ you saved, do yourself a favor and swap the handle for something better (and safer), such as a Weber Bulldog.

I can't remember what I paid for the two 2011 versions that I have, or the 2013 version either, but I venture to guess it was more than $30.20 delivered each. Nice Buy!

The most slippery handle I have ever experienced. I use a Weber Bulldog on my 2011 and 2013 and love it. Give the standard handle a try, you may like it.

 

Well that doesn't sound good. I assume I can swap out the handle from my ASD2 if needed? Thanks for the tip.

 

Having shaved with the R41 several times, I've never had any problems with the handle.

I love my Frankenrazor the Muhle R41 v2013 head with iKon Bulldog handle along with the Gillette Nacet blade, I get 6 smooth shaves with Gillette Nacet without any razor burns and irritation as YMMV
