An option, sure. But then you gotta go to bed earlier, too. Keep that up and he'd be going to bed yesterday to make up for tomorrow. That could make you Tom Cruise Crazy! Tapatalk Via Kyocera
i ve managed to get to a point where i could shave every day, tech razor, less passes, technique is better, skin is tougher etc.but i still get a better, smoother shave if i wait a day or two.i am happy with that.as time goes on it will get easier.
When I first started wet shaving I would always over-shave and I paid for it, as my technique improved so did shaves, and my face thanked me.
Today is a "shaving day off". I noticed a small bump on my neck and confirmed it was an ingrown hair. Got me thinking that I need to, at least for awhile, lay off the ATG pass(es), especially with a past-its-prime blade. Seems anytime I do get any ingrown hairs, or weepers, or irritation, it's from ATG passes. It also occurred to me that, even though I try to get as close as shave possible, never once has anyone said "Hey! I see you didn't do a three pass shave today!". Sure, we all want the best shave possible. But when you get down to it, we're truly the only ones who notice! I've had several shaves where, mostly due to time constraints, I just did a two pass shave (and maybe a small amount of touch up...and they were some of the best shaves.
As my technique improved my need for 3 pass shaves decreased. Now I can get away with a 2.5 pass shave during the week(M-F). Sunday is the start of the shave week and my "me time" shave(traditional 3 pass). Depending on the razor/blade combo I can get anywhere from a WWS to a DFS to occasionally a BBS. Any of those are fine with me.
No idea. It never made it to this list ---> http://theshaveden.com/forums/threads/acronyms-abbreviations.22209/
