I think I remember more from Monty Python (and the like) than I do from all my book learning.

 

When they have a buy one get one free sale, but you only want one, why can't you choose the free one?

From the Spanish “Reale Estate”, meaning, loosely, “of the realm” - as in everything is of the realm, and belongs to the king. Doubt this? Try not paying your real estate taxes on property that you think you own free and clear. It’s true owner will repossess it!

This one is killing me, since 88. I get that the song is telling me that addicts are nuts. But, why braces and a belt? A man must make choices.

 

Please don't ask me how I know this but for anyone that's interested......there's no such thing as organic rice.....

 

Now you've gone and brought up my pet peeve- the term "organic". Of course, it is organic rice... it's not made of silicon (which would make it inorganic rice).

 

I'm just saying, knowing what I know when it comes to farming, the word "organic" is a VERY loose term. What they lead the public to believe and what really goes on behind the scenes are two different things. I've seen it. All they have to do is meet government standards. Doesn't mean it's truly organic in the sense they want you to believe. If you want "organic", your best bet is to buy fresh from a farmers market or a roadside stand and even then, I have questions about those. Not trying to be condescending, I just know what I know. In my mind, in the commercial market, there is no such thing as true organic.
