Billy, I've checked eBay for blades like these and I think they're hard to come by. Is it just a matter of getting lucky and finding some?

NO..A Rolls Blade has Different Dimensions..Its a Chunkier Blade..They are Both Full Hollow Grinds but the Rolls has a Kinda Wedge Type Design that is Very Specific to the Rolls Set Up..:)

It was worth asking. Rolls blades are easier to find.

The Best Place is EBay France..There is Usually a Number of Cheap Sets with Useable Blades from Time to Time..If Someone Wants these Blades they Will Find them..Most Wont Pay for them is All..:D

I suspect that if you're across the pond, E-Bay France is a reasonable place to shop. Just from Canada to the US is atrocious; UK to US isn't that bad, but mainland Europe can be terrible.

Wedge blades are the Bees knees. I am lucky enough to have 3 good blades for my Rapide. My favorite SE by a mile. I have 2 good Rolls that rock also.

What's the carpet cutter in the right of the photo? I've seen some devices like that on E-Bay, as part of collections, but I just can't see how it could be a shaving utensil. Maybe an early form of X-Acto knife :)

Hm. Odd, but considering the original carbon blades, and their costs, I guess I can see that :)
