I keep a taurus judge as my truck and open carry weapon. Shotgun loaded with tactical buck shot at home. Miss my Smith model 13a that was stolen out of my truck a few years ago....grrrrr
Yep, they're among the best old carbons. They were at it for years, then got bought by the (then) blade giant ASR. I've never gotten a bad shave from a Pal carbon (understand, though, that shaving with old carbons is truly old school shaving and can be an acquired taste).
Stayed up late last night looking at the Glock 42/43 (friend's recommendation) and the Ruger LCP and LC9s (my dad's recommendation). Taurus would be great for in our house.
We have a wonderful thread setup for all of our new shaving goodies http://theshaveden.com/forums/threads/the-haul-july-2017.56482/#post-1275714
There's a few of those I'll buy, if you don't need them. I have started a small collection of wrappers.
I am a fan. They sorted out the quality issues. I am not into paying for brand names. It functions well and I like the do several things mentality.
Local shop has a triangle slot Tech (pre-war?) on a New bar handle, all handsomely darknened brass. $15 is little high but if I didn't have my Canada I might have gotten it.
