Not really sure if this review will help anyone,since this is only the second brush I've ever used.My first brush is a boar bristle brush made by Omega.The Whipped dog brush is a little softer than my boar brush,but it really whipped up a nice lather for me.I also like how I didn't have to soak this brush before using it. It really felt nice as I was applying the lather to my face.It's hard to believe that this brush is synthetic,but like I said,I don't really have much experience in shaving brushes,but I do know that I like this brush. I have a Whipped Dog B&W 24 mm brush. It is very nice. it produces a great lather quickly and has a very nice skin feel.
