I'm still in too! I've also had some recent upsidedownness, mostly around getting my baby brother, and my best friend, into rehab. I'm hopeful, but sober, about his prospects.

Hi all, unfortunately, I am out. I spotted a 1947 Gillette Super Speed on eBay for a song, and I put in a low-ball bid and won. I did it without even thinking about it. Almost subconsciously. It didn't even enter my head that I would be in violation here. Just another stupid human trick in a long line of them. Close one today. Went to lunch with the wife at the local Cracker Barrel restaurant and saw a puck of Badger SS. But managed to stay strong and not give in. So I'm still good but barely
It's the same kind of brand as Burt's Bees. I've used Badger hand salve for dry skin and also Badger mustache wax. They weren't bad. No idea what their shave soap is like but I expect it's sort of an undistinguished middle of the road offering.
I have only read a couple of reviews about it, but from what I have read, if by middle of the road you meant stuck in the ditch with a flat tire, you are probably spot on.
Now that you mention them, I do recall reading similar reviews that caused me to scratch Badger off my list of future soap purchases. On the other hand, I have no personal experience with it so I am not prepared to be too cutting about it. On the other other hand, I did say that it was a brand much like Burt's Bees -- and Burt's Bees is the only shaving cream I have ever tossed in the garbage, refusing even to keep it for use as handsoap...
