Hey all, I'm a new guy here. I have been wetshaving for a few years. Was really into it for the first year and bought a bunch of stuff, then kinda burned out on it. Dropped and broke my favorite Simpsons brush and saw how much this whole thing has grown in a couple years while searching for a new brush. I figured while I'm at it I might as well join a new forum. I'm looking at some cheaper options to Simpsons but will post about that in the brush area of the forum. Anyway, glad to be here!
Hello and welcome. I'm wanting to get a high density semouge silvertip. They sound great (my boars from them are top notch). Give them a looky lou while your searching.
Welcome from one FNG(I'll be here a year come November) to another. You should check out Jayaruh Brushes! Here's mine: JR#161. He's got a lot more(traditional),but this one is mine! Made from a wood stub of a Louisville Slugger bat.
Welcome @Sniper1! Glad you joined us. Quite a few Artisans, Craftsmen, and generally handy folks here at TSD that repair, restore, or make handles from scratch. Is the knot from your brush reusable? Take a moment to visit The Newbie Giveaway. Read the rules to be sure you qualify.
