@Morman Bridge posted some pictures of his Schick looking for information on what kind it was. I believed we settled on it being a G type. I noticed that the handle was busted and offered to make him a wooden one since I have made a few of those before. My Dad had made one for his old E3 many years ago, and it inspired me to do the same for my E3 when its handle disintegrated. I had a piece of birdseye maple left over from a previous project and that is what I used for this handle. I have a drum sander on my 1/2 drill attached to a small "horse" that I use to shape handles with. After some work this is what I ended up with. I used my old E3 for the following pictures. I decided that I would do something new for me. I went for the traditional look for the handle. After some further shaping and sanding, this is what I got. Next, I finished it with polyurethane satin finish. Alan is sending me his old razor, and I will clean it up and put this new handle on it. It should be good to go for many shaves to come.
