    So I bought an Alum Block and have used it twice, both times my skin became irritated for a couple of hours. Aside from that I really like it for the feel post shave and also it does help using it on the fingers to grip the tang.
    My razor passes a HHT easily so I guess it could be technique causing the irritation??
