So it has become a new thing, hitting the local antique shops looking for anything shaving related. Thanks guys, you are a great bunch of enablers. I say that with the up most respect and love. So any how, I recently picked up an injectable and an old GEM razor with case and blade bank. Is there anyway to date these razors? I know Gillettes have date date codes on the razors. Thanks again Den Member/Enablers.
The Den of Enablers strikes again I don't know anything about Gems but the Schick looks like a Type G, which would put it between 1946-1955. Good data about Schick injectors can be found HERE. Look forward to your thoughts about your new razors.

So after reading the post you guy pointed me to I can to the understanding @Billyfergie and @Bird Lives are the resident GEM experts. I reached out to both of them to help me date the GEM. I have heard back from Billy(Thank you Sir). He has said it was an Early GEM Brooklands from 1924. I was squealing like a little school girl. Which is pretty bad cause I work in a cube farm. I just had to share the news.
Oooh. You need to print out a couple of the really old Gillette ads and post them outside your cubicle. Or just inside.
Congratulations on your finds. Nothing better than bagging a vintage razor in the wild! This was my first ever fleamarket find: NEW Short Comb, ca. 1932-40. $5. My favorite razor. Paired with a GSB it's a stubble assassin.
You did really well!! We have a fantastic monthly thread that is called The Haul. Great place to share your new goodies. http://theshaveden.com/forums/threads/the-haul-june-2017.56132/
