Yeah - great budget shave! Good shaving materials, both hardware and software, don't have to be expensive to be good quality.

First shave this month, and first time using the OT in several months. Loaded a Nacet, which I didn't have last time I focussed on this razor. Face-lathered a nice lather and had 3 uneventful passes. The OT/Nacet combo produced a smooth shave. Didn't chase the baby, but am more than happy with the results. Finished with the Booster, which I've neglected a bit.
    Have a great day all!

Great looking shave, Perry! I find I actually prefer Brisk to Skin Bracer.

I'm up for another focus month. As it is OC October I have just two OC razors one being a GEM OCMM and the other a Valet VC2 Autostrop. The Valet will be my razor of choice this month as I have some carbon Feather blades I would like to see if stropping them will prolong the usefulness of the blades.

    2 OCtober
    First shave of OCtober

    Pre-Shave: Hot Shower
Brush: 28mm Faux Finest Badger, Frank Shaving (FS)
    Soap: C. O. Bigelow
    Razor: Valet, Autostrop
Blade: Carbon Steel(CS), Feather Seikan (1)
Post-Shave: Cold Water rinse and Clubman AS, Pinaud

This was the first shave using a CS Feather blade. Set the razor and shave up the night before. I'm glad I did, the blade needed some minor modifications to set properly in the razor. Sorry no pics of the mod. Will try tonight to get some of the mod. I also had to clean off what I guess is a couple spots of wax that is placed on the blade to keep the blade wrapped in the paper.

As it is Menthol Monday I went with some C.O. Bigelow and the big 28mm Faux Finest from FS. A three pass shave left me with an okay shave for Monday. That's alright though as the Valet and I will be getting to know one another over the course of the month. Finished the shave off with some Clubman AS and I am ready for the start of the work week.

    Wonderful lineup and photo Perry.

    Great photo and lineup Jason.

    Lovely brush and photo Brian.

Love the brush and razor Mark.

Great photo. The Feather FHS stainless blades have the same huge wax dots as well. I use the prior SE blade to remove the glue dots.

I use an alcohol prep pad to get it off. Though I will have to try using a used blade next time.

I have two of these sitting in a box, knowing that I'll never be able to sell them. If anyone want one its yours, its up to you to find the appropriate pathology blade though.

Great razors, Keith! That first one looks cool (and lethal!). I love the smell of the Barrister's Reserve Spice as well, at least in the AS that I have.
