See we did learn everything we need in high school. I remember seeing them live... I can't believe I remember anything at all from that period in my life. Up for the down stroke I give up on being able to embed a link
I think it might be angle. The face was clean. My jaw and neck were lacking. I will try again tonight. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
SOTN OCtober 31 Merkur 15C Gillette 7 O'Clock Super Stainless (2)(Green Russian) Satin Tip The Purest La Toja (Loaded from bowl) Crown King Scuttle Homemade Lime AS Good morning friends, after a weeks vacation I'm glad to be back! Last night I had my second shave with the Merkur 15c / 7 O'C SS combo. I must say I really really like this blade. It is very sharp and smooth. It works well in the mild 15C but I bet in a more aggressive razor it would be even better. La Toja as always made a very nice super slick lather and the fact that it stays warm in my scuttle is even better. A great finish to a relaxing week+ off. Have a great day my friends!
Okay, these will be my NOVember steadies. I had probably the best shave I have had in months with this set up so far. The FaTip Piccolo- played in Zinc The Shark Super Chrome blade. Didn't expect how well it shaved in the Piccolo. Might need to acquires a few more of these. The old reliable English made small badger brush. RPS Dragon's Blood soap. Lathered up so nicely and has quite a pleasant smell. Alum block to gauge how well the shave went. Hopefully not too much blood in November. This was my first Piccolo use and it was perfect. Followed up with a cold water rinse and a splash of the Clubman. Hoping the rest of you gents have a month of great shaves. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
October 31st SOTD Razor: Geo. W. Korn The Real Fixed Blade Strop: Drygulch Leatherworks Chromexcel Horse/ Linen Brush: Troth Handle with 24mm Envy White Soap: Barrister & Mann Lime, Lavender, & Cedarwood Post: Cold Water, Alum, Thayer’s Lavender Aftershave: The Shave Den Iced Yin Yang (Lime Lavender) Last day of the month, used The Real razor with no guard. I didn't realize but the guard made easier to keep a shallow angle, so I had to adjust that. Ended up with a smooth shave, but bit my chin pretty good when my wife walked in. Overall a DFS. This month I have used only edges I have done. It's a pretty good feeling to just have your own edges. I have a much better feel for how to maintain my razors now. It's not difficult, it just takes some time.
