I'll be using my merkur oc I was pif'ed from @Jayaruh as well as two others that I can't remember what they are, but they are Gillette that I picked up at a flea market. : )
I'm joining the OC fray! I think I'll start with the newest I have and work backwards. So that means I start with the 1937 Sheraton. Since I have two I'll start with the one that's Rhodium plated then the original plated one. Herm

Menthol Monday's OC Shave Proraso Pre Shave C.O. Bigelow Jayaruh #224 AutoStrop VB1 Feather SE CWR Thayer's Lemon WH Pinaud Clubman I started off with Proraso Pre Shave. The C.O. Bigelow Shaving Cream face-lathered well with the Jayaruh #224 synthetic brush. I did the two passes with the AutoStrop VB1 and Feather SE blade and ended up with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, I finished off with Thayer's Lemon WH and then Pinaud Clubman AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...
Well the big surprise for me is that there is a clear winner between the first two razors, so clear that I see no need to try again. RazoRock Old Type on left, a 1918 Gillette Old on right: The winner in this first round was the RazoRock Old Type and by a wide, wide margin. The shave was far more comfortable, closer, with absolutely no irritation, no snags, no bites, no drag, no pull, no nicks, no scratches and even right over where the Gillette bit me yesterday. Final result was not just PDG but PDG+. Yesterday I felt a need to switch back to the ATT G1 for final cleanup but not today. The RazoRock Old Type is a definite winner. The RazoRock goes into the winners bracket while the Gillette Old goes into the losers. I'll first work through all the DE lineup and then do single elimination of the winners in the first round and end by comparing the best of the DEs to other blade formats, GEM, Feather FHS, Valet and AC format.
