    This one is super sweet:

    Real 'boterbabbelaars'- literally: butter babblers.
    Made of sugar 'n butter.
    Super sweet, melts on your tounge, bad for the teeth, but what the heck! :)

    Elephant Ears seem to be a regional thing. Used to see them at fairs and carnivals as a kid. Now that I'm in other places all I see are funnel cakes.

    oh yum ... maple syrup! no, not that Aunt Jemima junk, I'm talkin' REAL maple syrup, straight from the tree, boiled down and poured on a handful of snow! man I love Canada :)
