Old Spice Classic AS

Just used Old Spice Classic AS for the first time. I must say it's pretty darn good! I've always used Aqua Velva, Skin Bracer, or Nivea so I decided it was time to try it. It left me feeling smooth! I've seen a fresh version at the store too, anyone try it? I may try clubman later too as I've never used it either.

 

You'll never go wrong with Old Spice. Never..

 

I know OS is popular, but I don't think I've used it since junior high. I may try it again one day, but I think I'd need to find the original.

 

Try the lime it's great!

 

I wish lime was still sold in the US. It's still sold in India right? That lime bottle can get pricy on the bay.

Clubman Pinaud is great stuff.

 

Old Spice Rocks!!! I like the cologne because it last longer than the AS's 30 mins on me... Pinaud is also Monster Good....Now I splash with the regular Clubman everyday....along with whatever else I use....For instance...if I use Aqua Velva for the face freeze and fresh scwnt, I also splash with the Pinaud Clubman...an hour later when the AV is gone the Clubman keeps me feeling and smelling great the rest the day....

 

I tried Old Spice for the first time a few months ago. My wife was surprised at how good it smelled. I had grown up hearing jokes about it my whole life. I doubt most people making comments have ever smelled it. Good stuff.

 

Here I go again resurrecting a dead thread. Used Old Spice this morning from my A/S sampler. Haven't used it since HS. To me it smelled the same as then. I understand that it's made in India now. Is this what you find in say CVS now?

 

I don't think so it. I have a bottle of both, and I really can't tell but I think it's a cheap knock off.

 

Not really, There are at least three different version of the Spice.

Current Old Spice is made by Proctor and Gamble pretty much everywhere. A few years ago there was an Old Spice Made in India by Rubicon that is rumored to be the original Shultion formula. And then there is the king of all vintage AS, Shulton Old Spice. I have a bottle of both Shulton and current P&G and to me there is a difference. Not a huge difference mind you, but its there. Also People say that Family Dollar Spicy is pretty close to the original.

The fact that there is a difference in the P&G version changes the name of that version to New Spice(so far as I'm concerned)..

 

I highly recommend Clubman. Hope you enjoy it if/when you get around to it.
