I was cleaning out some cabinets getting ready to refinish them. Way in the back sitting alone were these two bottles of Old Spice Musk from the 1974 era. Forgot I had these. I believe they stopped production in the 80s. I see on eBay where full bottles are going for upwards of $50. Just thought I would share the photo. The brush in the photo - by the way - is a Macy's Associate Best Badger. My very first shaving brush from 1968 when I was in college.
How do they smell? Maybe I'm just crazy but I find that old fragrances from back in the day tend to smell better than modern ones.
They still smell great. They are a cologne. Not sure if they made an after shave in the same scent back then.
When we redid this bathroom, we decided to drop some coin on two of these medicine cabinets. Well worth it imo.
very cool.the only stuff i have left from the eighties was 2 bottles of hai karate cologne and aftershave.
i like them as well.reminds me of shag carpets, panelling, pale blue suits and bell bottoms.my childhood days....
