Razor: Kamphe Bros. Star Razor, CMON Doble Temple straight razor
Blade: GEM PTFE coated SE (3)
Brush: Silver Tip Badger 23mm knot
Soap: TOBS - Avacodo
After: Home made ASB, Aqua Velva classic Ice Blue
Cologne: Christian Dior - Cuir Cannage

An easy 2 pass Darn Fine Shave + this first day of Open Comb October. The silver tip badger is soft and whipped up a great lather with the TOBS - Avacado. The AV brought some chill and the Cuir Cannage will have me smelling great all day.

New Standards are not 1906. New Improved line began in 1919 and ended around 1929.

 

Open Comb October... Merkur 11C, probably late 1950s. I repainted the handle to match the original white, and replaced the cap, which had a lot of corrosion from a blade that was left in the razor over the years.

you are correct. I checked the serial number more closely. the last number is a c, I had thought it to be an 0.
my razor is a model 126, made in 1928. Sorry for the confusion.

 

today was a Gillette long comb new with a ball end handle.
no date code on this one, but it's pretty old also.

 

finally won a single ring.

Excellent shave! Im getting some of my best irritation free shaves ever! Using this OC, extremely close and comfortable. I've had this system for 2 months and hadn't used the OC plate until yesterday, why did I wait?! Stirling Grapefruit was perfect as always. Go Giants!
