When you leave west out of Kingman, AZ...take CR 10, Oatman Road...10 miles or so, you'll find Cool Springs Cabins & Tasty Foods (or some such)...keep going, and you'll be on some of the most amazing blacktop in America...Main Street America...the Mother Road...and when you get past the twistie bits,...

My wife always hits on me on why I take so many pictures. Out of a hundred, you may have one that stands out. I believe this is one. It looks like this seagull's wings are fully extended. Ready to grab another hunk of air.

The survivor! After a mile wide F4 tornado went through my town on April 27, 2011, this tree stood alone amid the wreckage and other downed trees. I wish I had taken this picture earlier. Everyone thought this tree would die, as a few others did later that managed to withstand the twister initially. No one cut it, and amazingly new green growth sprouted along the one long remaining limb, and the short nub of a limb. You see the top was broken off.

This is a rock formation located along Highway 95 in Utah. This is absolutely stunning country. The rock formations are amazing. I have made a half dozen or so trips to Utah/Arizona/New Mexico and all have been fantastic If able, visit the central area of Utah. You will not be disappointed.
