The Parker 3 piece razors are considered to be better than the TTO variety.

Well, bad news. I posted this after I ordered it. I received it today. The razor is defective in ways that are hard to describe. I've asked for a refund. I'll post if there is any problems doing so.

I have a 22R which has turned out to be a less than average razor. The silo doors actually popped off while tightening:eek:,and the blade gap was un-even.Very poor first choice by me as it was my first d/e.It's a shame really, because Parker could be on a real winner with an upgrade in quality.

That's really a shame cuz the Parker 3 piece razor are great. I have an 89r and 91r. Both are lovely to look at and work very well.

I have even read posts on this site and others that they have had problems with the Parker 89r and 91r. Uneven blade exposures mainly. There was one poster that mentioned the post part with the threading breaking off.
