Celebrating Simple pleasures...Hanging out with three of my old college roommates in a Lake Tahoe cabin for 3 nights.
A little May snowfall & freezing temps outside but inside: Good food, plenty of cigars and whiskey-sampling, all celebrating over 30 years of friendship together.

No, but they were admiring several I brought for show & tell. None were willing to try one out.

 

Looks like you guys are having a great time! That is something to cherish!

You might consider to show them how you shave yourself and propore to give htem a shave. Next thing you know, you're their personal barber!

 

They did watch me shave one morning (strop the blade, work up the lather, 3-pass shave…) and although intrigued, all stated 'no way' they'd risk using a straight razor.

 

Perhaps they only need to get used to the idea. Oh well... In the end it's their shave of course.

 

Lemme do the math...hmmm...4 guys, 7 bottles of whiskey... That's a whole lot of "sampling" going on!

 

Ha! Yes it is….but this sampling has been spread over the past 6-8 years of bi-annual get-togethers!
